As part of the completion of our recent Kickstarter campaign, Quantum Robotic Systems (QRS) is very proud to announce that we will be donating QBii Rev 3.0 Robot Kits to three Canadian schools.
This initiative was an integral part of our goal to not only get QBii out into the world, but also to give students an opportunity for a fun, practical and hands-on STEM learning experience. QRS is happy to provide QBii to these schools in the hopes that it might encourage a long-term interest in the field of robotics and in STEM careers in general.
QRS is committed to helping faculty at each of our recipient schools to develop curriculum material around our robot.
The following schools will receiving a QBii Rev 3.0 Robot Kit:
Six Nations Polytechnic STEAM Academy
Located in Brantford, Ontario, SNP Polytechnic STEAM Academy features a focus on Indigenous education and culture. The Academy offers courses through its robotics lab and has a competitive FIRST Robotics team.
Notre Dame High School
Notre Dame is an historic all-girls Catholic high school founded in 1941 in the east end of Toronto, Ontario. Our donation affirms QRS’s commitment to encouraging young women to pursue an interest in STEM-related subjects.
Albert College
Founded in 1857 in Belleville, Ontario, Albert College is the oldest co-educational independent school in Canada. QRS wishes to acknowledge that this donation was made possible by the generous support of a single backer with a special connection to Albert College, Belleville and Prince Edward County.
Thank You to All Our Supporters
QRS would like to thank everyone who helped make these donations possible. We are grateful for the chance to share QBii with the students and faculty at these schools. We look forward to having more opportunities for community outreach and education as our company grows. Thanks again!
